One of the wildest parts of Kaunas 2022 – the European Capital of Culture was the city’s legend: the mythical Beast of Kaunas. Clues to its existence popped up everywhere—a giant tooth near the castle, mysterious footprints, fairy tale books filled with its wild adventures. The city turned into a living, breathing mystery.
